Master of Divinity specializing in Church Growth & Evangelism from the Billy Graham School of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Eight years as North American Mission Board Missionary Service Corps urban church planting strategist with a focus on unreached tribes like the Kurds from Iraq.
Ten years Founder/CEO of Blazing Trees Ministries.
In 2026, became Community Shepherd for Blazing Trees missionaries and launched a new personal ministry fund called Maranatha Flame which supports James’ personal and family needs, ministry expenses, special projects, and generous giving to trusted, vetted, Spirit-led missionaries around the world.
